Sorry the title is a little bit of a lie. The adventure didn't really begin today it began the 1st January 2011. Over the the course of the last 14 days we have cut down on the crap. Yes all the junk food and Fatty food is out and in with the new healthy approach.
We'll be following the Slimming World Super Easy approach. That reminds me go the doctors appointment for my referral on Wednesday evening.
Well back to today for dinner Tom decided to use some mackerel that I've had in the freezer a while and follow the Good Food Mackerel Risotto recipe removed the Butter from the recipe as Butter is BAD! replace smoked mackerel for the regular line caught mackerel we had in the freezer. Left the wine in... Come on it was only 100ml.
When I make this again I think I'll not use a whole onion as I think it was a little much perhaps even replace the onion for shallots as I think they will be even better.
The finished product please excuse the chipped plate next time I'll use a better one.
